Our initial meeting is the time for our clients to spill all their design hopes and dreams. We will walk through your project, identify the functional needs of the space, communicate our design process, discuss timeline, and begin to develop a design direction for the project. Following our meeting, our clients receive a custom design proposal which will communicate the design fee necessary for us to complete their project.
After gaining a full understanding of your design goals, we will thoughtfully select the necessary design finishes and styling items specific to your project needs. We compile our selections and ideas into a design board for your review and before executing the design!
We take your approved presentation and begin to coordinate next steps to execute your design. Depending on project type, this phase may include ordering furnishings and working with trades professionals.
Once the construction or installation is complete all that's left to do is to enjoy your beautiful, new space!

RHI utilizes a flat-fee pricing model giving our clients the ability to understand their potential investment prior to the start of design work. After discussing your project in-depth, you will receive your personalized proposal that will communicate the design fee necessary for RHI to complete your project!
How long does the design process take? Dependent on project complexity and scope: Full-service design projects typically take 4-8 weeks. A La Carte Design and Virtual Design typically take 2-4 weeks.
How do I know what service is for me? Consider your project scope, timeframe, budget, desired level of design to determine what service is right for you.
What if I want to add on to my project scope after getting started? If you would like to add to your project scope after your original design fees have been paid, we will determine a new flat fee that reflects the amount of the additional design work needed.
