Faux stems come in a variety of styles and types, from delicate and dainty to bold and vibrant. One popular type of faux stem we use commonly in our design projects are olive branches. Another one of our favorites is Italian Ruscus. Either of these stem types can add a touch of life and vitality to any room. Faux stems are perfect for adding color and organic texture to your interior styling, whether you're creating a cozy corner in your living room or a serene oasis in your bedroom.
No. 2: Creating Beautiful Arrangements
Once you have your faux stems, it's time to start arranging them in a way that complements your home décor. First, consider the vase dimensions you'll be using. You want to choose a vase that's the right size and shape for your faux floral stems, so they can be arranged in a way that looks natural and balanced. Something we stay away from is a vase that has too wide of a mouth or opening. The larger the opening, the more stems you will need to create a full look. A wide opening also makes it harder a bit for the stems to stand tall without falling to the sides of the vase. To arrange your stems, start by creating a grid pattern at the top over the opening of your vase with floral tape. This will help the keep your stems in place once the arrangement is complete. Place them in the vase one by one working in layers and gradually building up the arrangement. If you want more variety, you can add interest and depth to your arrangement by using stems of different heights and textures.

No. 3: The Benefits of Faux Stems
One of the biggest benefits of faux floral stems is their longevity. Unlike fresh stems, faux stems can last for years with proper care, making them a cost-effective and an eco-friendly choice. Faux stems require very minimal maintenance (which I love) – you can simply dust them occasionally and keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. They are also extremely versatile and there are many options to choose from. With a wide range of colors, styles, and types to select from, you can easily find faux stems that complement your home décor and personal style. I personally have stems for each season! I love changing them out with the seasons to create a festive feeling in my home.
